VANSWE 800 lbs Capacity Adjustable Workout Bench | WB001

I purchased the VANSWE Adjustable Weight Bench (800lb capacity) off of Amazon. I have used it for a variety of lifts so far: bench press (incline, decline, straight), hip thrusters, sit ups, and more. The bench works great. I was worried about the gap between the seat and the back portion but it hasn't been a problem. I am 6' tall and 220lbs. I put a towel under my legs for the decline sit-ups, the bench padding is firm. The bench feels very sturdy-no wobbling issues so far. I wish it was a little wider but for the money I feel it is definitely worth the purchase! The package arrived at the beginning of the delivery window and the assembly was pretty easy.

Delivery was quick. Assembly took a little time, might be harder if you don't have the right size socket wrenches. A small drop of oil on one of the bolts helped. I'm 5' 9", this bench was a good size in height and width. Very steady, no wobbles at all, I much prefer this to the tripod design of some other benches. I'm sure it will stand up many years with just two or three sessions a week. Also was very nice that Vanswe gave me a yoga mat.

Been using this product for a full week now. I am just beginning to workout again after shoulder surgery, so I am not lifting very heavy. I currently weigh about 210 pounds at 6"2' and the bench is very sturdy. In other reviews I read about complaints about the distance between the pads, but this hasn't been issue for me or my wife who is about 110 pounds at 5"2'. The assembly directions could be better, but I had no trouble assembling. Very happy with the product.

The enormous gap created between the upper and lower pads forces discomfort in any flat to decline position. The gap is about four inches long with steel bar in between. Not only is this unconformable but it forces you to workout with poor form. Butt and shoulders should be level during a press. Instead, the butt is multiple inches lower due to falling in the gap. Aside from the gap the pads are extremely stiff and the fabric is low quality, but for the price you cant expect top grade materials. My only real qualm is that you can find benches in the same price range that have identical features but minimize the gap between cushions. I would not recommend
