How Vanswe began
Manufacturing experience, redirected toward home fitness
In 2017, after completing a master’s degree at the University of Melbourne, founder Dong Wang returned home with a clear idea: connect his family’s long-standing equipment-manufacturing experience with the needs of everyday home exercisers.
At the time Vanswe launched, that family manufacturing background already spanned 19 years. It gave the new company a practical starting point—understand the materials, the structure, and the production process, then build products around the people who would actually use them.
The first milestone was the RB407 recumbent bike. From there, Vanswe grew into both cardio and strength equipment. In 2023 we split the two: strength equipment moved to its own brand, Gymworth, and Vanswe now focuses on recumbent bikes and other low-impact cardio.

From one recumbent bike to two product lines
2017
Vanswe is founded
Dong Wang launches Vanswe with the RB407 recumbent bike. In the early years, all of our cardio and strength products are sold under the Vanswe name.
2023
Gymworth takes over strength
Strength equipment moves to its own brand, Gymworth. Vanswe focuses on seated, low-impact cardio. A new generation of Gymworth equipment is now in development.

Six current recumbent bike models
The current Vanswe line covers compact, higher-capacity, arm-exercise, and electric recumbent bikes (RB405, RB407, RB408, RB409, RB505, RB607).
