FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is the RB505 good for knee pain or joint issues?

Yes — thanks to its low-impact dual-action design, step-through entry, and adjustable resistance, the RB505 is ideal for joint-friendly training and recovery programs.

How quiet is the RB505? Can I use it in an apartment at night?

The RB505 features a magnetic resistance system and belt drive engineered to operate under 15 dB. You can ride while others sleep without disturbance.

Can seniors use the RB505 safely?

Absolutely. With its low step-through frame, extra-wide non-slip pedals, and cushioned mesh seat, the RB505 is designed for safe, comfortable use by seniors and those with mobility concerns.

What's the difference between RB505 and RB408?

While both offer full-body dual-action workout, the RB505 delivers a higher weight capacity (450 lbs vs 400 lbs), wider footprint and longer inseam range—ideal for heavier users or taller riders seeking maximum stability. The RB408 offers excellent value under $500 for standard riders.

How hard is the assembly?

The RB505 arrives ~80% pre-assembled. Most users finish setup in 45–60 minutes using the included manual and tools. Transport wheels are built in for easy repositioning.

Get on and off smoothly

The open-frame design has been a lifesaver for me. After a serious accident, swinging my leg over a traditional bike frame became impossible. With this model, I can simply step through and sit down—no struggle at all. I didn’t want to deal with the complicated assembly, so I had a handyman put it together.

Excellent for home workouts; comfortable and highly effective!

Putting it together requires a little patience. But once it's done, it works perfectly!

Durable build with user-friendly design

Even though the assembly process wasn’t the quickest, the end result made the effort worthwhile. The bike feels sturdy and comfortable overall. The seat and backrest offer good support, though adding a bit more cushioning on the seat would make it even better. I haven’t explored every feature on the console yet, but the core functions I’m using so far have been great.

Great unit

I’m really pleased with this exercise bike. It’s working perfectly for me. I’m 72 and not as mobile as I used to be but I can get on this easy. I can also up the resistance which I needed. Love that it works your arms too. It’s very sturdy and comfortable

A delightful workout experience

This exercise bike turned out to be an excellent addition to our home gym.It took two of us a few sessions over 30 mins to fully assemble it. But once it’s built, the bike runs quietly and feels like a solid investment in staying healthy. There are plenty of features to grow into, and overall it’s been a great purchase.
